Miki House, a renowned Japanese children's brand celebrated for its vibrant designs, and commitment to children's comfort, entrusted us as the local architect for their Bondi Junction store. Our role was to seamlessly integrate the Japanese design team's vision within the Australian context, ensuring that the brand's essence was preserved and realized locally.

A challenge was sourcing materials that matched the intricate timber finishes specified by the Japanese designers, many of which were unavailable in Australia. Through meticulous collaboration with local suppliers, we identified suitable alternatives that honored the original design intent while adhering to local standards.

We navigated the local building regulations, coordinated with authorities, and managed on-site construction intricacies. Our approach ensured that the store not only met the high standards set by Miki House but also resonated with the local community.
